Meet Denise
Denise believes that a beautiful landscape isn't just about aesthetics it's about creating spaces that feel right.
Spaces that welcome you home, offer privacy and calm, and work with the land rather than against it.
Every property is different. Every homeowner has a different vision. Denise's process starts with listening
understanding how you use your outdoor spaces, what draws your eye, and what you want to feel when you step
outside. From there, she brings her deep plant knowledge to bear, selecting species that will genuinely thrive in
your specific location while delivering the look and function you're after.

She's seen too many landscapes fail because the wrong plant was put in the wrong place. Her goal is always to
get it right the first time with plant choices that are suited to our local soil, climate, wildlife, and conditions,
and designs that will look beautiful not just at installation, but for years to come.
A Lifetime of Growing Things
Some people find their calling. Denise Bradshaw was born into hers.

At three years old, she was already following her grandmothers through their gardens learning the names of
plants, watching things grow, and discovering the quiet joy of tending to living things. That early wonder never
left her. It simply grew into a career.
Denise earned her degree in Ornamental Horticulture from The Ohio State University and has spent over 40
years working in nearly every corner of her field. She has propagated plants in greenhouses, grown them to
maturity in nurseries, managed houseplant production, and spent years installing, maintaining, and designing
residential landscapes. That breadth of hands-on experience gives her something rare: a true ground-up
understanding of plants how they grow, how they perform, and how to make them thrive in the specific
conditions of Delaware's coastal climate.

In February 2020, she channeled that lifetime of knowledge into Bradshaw Landscape and Irrigation, bringing
high-end landscape design and planting services to homeowners across Sussex County. She holds the
designation of Delaware Certified Nursery Professional and is an active member of the Delaware Nursery &
Landscape Association.
